2017 Eurojuris Golf Cup - stay out of the bunkers !

Mark your diaries, the 25th edition of the Eurojuris Golf Cup will take place on the outstanding premises of the Ravenstein Golf Club on Thursday 12th October 2017 and will be synchronised with the Brussels Congress to accommodate most of you.

The Ravenstein Manor Farm, which later became the Club House, has an interesting history dating back to 1460, where Philip The Good, Duke of Burgundy established his estate.

The first stone of the present Château was laid in 1748 by Charles-Henry Francolet de Terweynt, was also owned by the Prince of Orange in 1826, then passed into the hands of the King Leopold II of Belgium who donated it later on to the Belgian State for everyone’s pleasure.

The Eurojuris Golf Cup’s tradition started back in 1989 under the impulse of a bunch of active EJ members and golf fanatics like Herman Naeyaert and Thierry Clerc.

A first tournament was organised at the La Bruyère Golf Club (South of Belgium) and, from there, turned all around Europe and toured in the most prestigious golf clubs such as Bremen, Dusseldorf, Nunspeet, Rinkven, Dunkerke, Chantilly just to name a few.

Herman Naeyaert, founding partner at NCD Law in Antwerp, a firm specialising in Commercial law,Transport & Personal Injury law, and former President of Eurojuris Belgium will be your host at this event.  As main organiser of this year’s edition, he will be presenting the Duvieusart Cup to the best player of this year’s competition, a trophy named after Eurojuris founder Etienne Duvieusart.

What else is left to say except : keep it in the fairway & stay out of the bunkers !
